BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix – Dutch Special
This week’s Essential Mix on BBC’s Radio 1 celebrates the amazing electronic music that has come out of the Dutch land. In a four hour special podcast broadcasted live from Amsterdam Music Event last week, available for streaming on BBC’s website, you can hear Afrojack, Ferry Corsten, Sidney Sampson and Rehab.
Coming out of then end of the northern summer Afrojack revealed to In The Mix that he will be kicking off a new show at Stereosonic. “In 2012 I want to make the show even bigger production-wise, but I’m already working on music I haven’t played yet. When I’m in Australia I want to present my new music – I call them my ‘Concert Edits’; the ones you can only hear in my sets.” That sounds to us like arms in the air, screaming your lungs out kind of bangers.
